“Nice” is an adjective that describes some vague and superficial pleasantness. If God exists, he is goodness, beauty, and truth — but not “nice.” It is a reminder that many have settled for an idol instead of the real God.This iconoclastic article really speaks to me about the need to see God as holy, not as a genie.
